Measure for Measure

Our 2012 Fall Mainstage is Shakespeare's Measure for Measure.

"Measure for Measure," one of Shakespeare's most compelling Problem Plays, highlights the moral grey-areas of stringent laws and the potential for corruption when ambitious rulers try to enforce them. This modernized version will seek to highlight one of the more controversial topics in today's society: LGBTQA political and social equality. When an unjust arrest is made against a man framed for a crime due to his homosexuality, the town is turned upside down in protests and political chaos, challenging the characters and audience alike to consider somewhat taboo topics in modern social dialogue.

Schedule of Performances:

Thursday, November 15, 8pm
Friday, November 16, 8pm
