The Shakespeare Cafe is the Undergroundlings' chance to experiment with plays and ideas which we could not otherwise put on the stage. In the cozy Rathskellar at Harnwell House, we performed scenes from plays by Shakespeare and his contemporaries, featuring the work of four different directors from the Company. Our audience enjoyed tea with their Shakespeare at this free event, which we hope to repeat in the future.
